Amanda, don’t get a big head. I have plenty of embarrassing memories I could bring up if your ego gets too big, don’t worry.
Though I suppose for every embarrassing thing you did I could list you could list something I did. That’s going to make blackmail a bit trickier.

Me (in Boston, explaining the American revolution to my little sister): Well, the Americans were ruled by a king all the way across the ocean in England, and they didn't like that very much. They didn't want to give the king their money.
Catherine: They wanted to be free.
Me: Right, exactly.
Catherine: Like that lady who freed all the slaves - what was her namE?
Me: Harriet Tubman?
Catherine: Yes, her! (pause) Were there slaves when we had our war with England?
Me: Yes.
Catherine: Why didn't they want to be free?
Me: Uh... Well, they did.
Catherine: But they couldn't be free?
Me: No, their owners didn't let them be free.
Catherine: But their owners wanted to be free from the king across the ocean?
Me: Yes, they did.
Catherine: But they wouldn't let slaves be free.
Me: No, they wouldn't.
Catherine: (pause) I don't get it.
Me: Me neither, kiddo. Me neither.
